What was MonkeyAlert?

MonkeyAlert was a popular monitoring service that tracked new listings across online marketplaces like eBay, Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, Mercari, and more. When new items matching your criteria appeared, it sent instant alerts via Discord, Telegram, or email.

Rather than keeping it as a separate service, we've integrated its core functionality directly into Nifty's Page URL Watcher addon. You get the same monitoring power with more flexibility, more notification options, and the ability to monitor any website that has a Nifty scraper.

Install a Nifty Scraper

Browse the scrapers on nifty.codes and install the Chrome or Firefox extension for the site you want to monitor.

Open the Page URL Watcher

Once the extension is active, open the addon menu and select the Page URL Watcher addon. It will auto-connect to your installed extension.

Configure Your Watcher

Pick a scraping option, enter the page URL to watch, and set up your filter conditions for what fields to track and what values to match.

Set Notifications & Start

Choose ntfy.sh for instant mobile alerts or a webhook for Discord/Airtable. Hit start and the monitor runs automatically.
