Payment Information: Payment processing is handled by our third-party payment processor, Polar. We do not store your credit card information. We only receive confirmation of successful transactions and subscription status.

All scraping happens locally in your browser. The data you scrape from websites is:

• Processed entirely on your device
• Stored temporarily in your browser's local storage
• Exported directly to your device
• Never transmitted to or stored on our servers

We have no access to the content you scrape. Your scraped data remains entirely under your control.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain our services
• Process your subscription and payments
• Send transactional emails (account confirmations, password resets, subscription updates)
• Improve our services through anonymized analytics
• Enforce usage limits based on your subscription tier

We do not send marketing emails. All communications are strictly transactional and service-related.

• Polar: Our payment processor, to handle subscription billing and payments
• PostHog: Our analytics provider, to help us understand how our product is used. PostHog receives only anonymized usage data and is hosted in the EU. No personal information or scraped content is shared

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any other third parties for marketing purposes.

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account:

• Your personal data is immediately and permanently deleted from our systems
• Anonymized usage statistics may be retained for analytical purposes

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information:

• Passwords are hashed using bcrypt
• All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption
• Access to user data is restricted to essential operations only

While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

We use PostHog, an analytics platform hosted in the European Union, to understand how people use Nifty so we can make it better. Here's what that means in practice:

• What we track: Button clicks, feature usage, page views, and general performance metrics within our extensions, website, and panel
• What we don't track: The content you scrape, the websites you visit, your browsing history, or any personal information
• How we anonymize: Your user ID is cryptographically hashed before being sent to analytics — it cannot be reversed to identify you
• Where data is stored: All analytics data is processed and stored in the EU

Analytics helps us answer questions like "which export format is most popular" or "do people use the search feature" — not "what is a specific user doing."

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Export your account information
